GEN Ireland represents Ireland’s startup sector at Global Innovator of the Year Awards
Co-founder of GEN Ireland, Maree Helena, will represent the startup sector in Ireland in Kansas City, as one of the main Presentation Judges at Pipelines Innovator of the Year Awards, next Thursday.
“I am excited and privileged at representing Ireland on such a prominent platform along with TechCrunch, where over 600 global innovators, entrepreneurs, mentors and advisors gather to celebrate their annual awards that have international reach,” says Maree Helena, co-founder, GEN Ireland.
Furthermore, Pipeline are hosting their first international summit in Ireland in September 2016 and GEN Ireland are co-hosting. “We are even more excited to finalise plans for this major important global event in Ireland, along with Pipelines CEO, Joni Cobb and her team whilst in Kansas.”
Joni Cobb says, “we are always pushing boundaries at Pipeline to help our entrepreneurs expand globally and choosing Ireland as the location for our first international innovator module summit is where we see the most potential for our entrepreneurs to explore ideas, networks and opportunities and GEN Ireland are playing such an important role in helping us achieve this.”
Pipelines international innovation summit is a highlight of The Startup Centenary celebrations for Ireland, a GEN Ireland yearlong celebration of entrepreneurship that finales in GEW, (Global Entrepreneurship Week) November 14-20, 2016.
